Nellie. Privacy

You got a text from Nellie.

Here is who she is, why she wrote to you, and how to make it stop in one word – no account, no hunting for a link.

If you want out

Reply STOP to the message. That is the whole process.

It takes effect immediately, in any language, and it is permanent for that shop unless you ask to come back. You never need to explain yourself, and nothing else changes about your order or account.

Who is Nellie?

Nellie is an assistant that shops use to talk to their customers one at a time, by text. She is software – not a person – but she works for a specific shop, and a person at that shop is responsible for what she says. She is not a marketing blast: she writes about the thing you actually looked at, and she reads your reply.

Why did she message you?

Because you gave that shop your number and agreed they could contact you – usually at checkout, in an account, or on a back-in-stock alert. She only writes when there is a reason: something you left in your bag, something back in your size, an order on its way, or an answer to a question you asked.

She keeps quiet hours, so she will not text you at night, and she will not chase you if you do not answer.

What does she know about you?

She can see
Your name and phone number What you browsed and left in your bag Your orders with that shop Your messages with her
She never sees

The shop is the data controller – it decides what she does with your details. We run the software on their behalf and hold the message history. Full detail in our privacy notice.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. The quickest route is the shop that messaged you, since it is their customer record – but you can write to us directly and we will handle it or pass it on.
